Ages: 6th grade through 12th grade

Schedule: Wednesdays  6-8p

First Wednesday of the month includes dinner and a break from teaching – could be games, movies, the park, whatever!

Mission statement: To create a hunger in the youth that they will joyfully want to take their next step towards God.  Not because they should, or because it is expected, but because nothing else will satisfy them.

Format: We usually have about an hour of teaching/discussion, 20-30 minutes of worship/communion, 15 minutes of prayer and the rest is announcements and down time.  It is not always in the same order so we could start with worship and then teaching or vice versa…whatever we feel the Spirit is leading us to do.   Our study topics vary but 75% of the time we are in the Word.  We have studied things like spiritual warfare, gifting and callings, prayer evangelism, and God’s plan for us.  Q & A is always encouraged and lively.   The PEAK is also passionate about our worship.  We are growing in our relationship with our Father and His Son and love expressing it in our music.  As individuals, the youth are encouraged in doing community service projects and taking on responsibilities around the church.  There is no junior Holy Spirit!
