Base Camp

Ages: 0-5

Base Camp is for Life Journey’s youngest children ages 0-5. The children come just before the start of the second service (10:30 am) to a lovely room filled with toys and a fun atmosphere with our very own attached bathroom for children who are potty learning. Each month has a special focus catered to these young children. The children listen to stories, sing songs, do activities, have snacks and learn about God and His word.



 

 Explorers

Ages: Kindergarten through fifth grade

Explorers is a fun-filled learning adventure for kids kindergarten through fifth-grade. Kids experience a variety of learning environments designed to help them take their next steps toward God! It is offered every Sunday during our second service (10:30a).

Safety is our top priority: every worker in Children's and Youth Ministries has been interviewed and put through a rigorous security check using law-enforcement data banks. All children in the Explorers program must be signed-in and signed-out by the same adult.

In addition to the Sunday morning service, Explorers enjoys an annual pool party, which takes place each summer. It has food, games, a piñata, prizes, and of course swimming. This is a function for all families with children in the K-5th grades, as well as a thank you for the K-5th (Explorers) volunteers. Everyone always has a blast!
